Many beautiful things are born in the garden. Brian and Martha’s Wisconsin garden is a magical place where birds know safe havens to nest in, the deer come to rest, and the turkeys roam. It also is the home of an extraordinary mouse who traveled the seas to live in a burrow. Creative ideas are born by listening to Brian play the mandola and drinking rooibos tea with Martha. We all come up with ideas that become beautiful books for children of all ages.
